To add video backgrounds to a Zoom call, follow these steps:
Select Video Background:
Purchase a background from christmasperformer.com or from our ETSY site. It's in a format supported by Zoom (e.g., MP4).
Open Zoom and Sign In:
Launch the Zoom desktop application or open your web browser and go to the Zoom website.
Sign in to your Zoom account if you haven't already.
Remember animated background work with PC or Mac but not on mobile devices or tablets.
Access Settings:
Once signed in, click on your profile picture or initials in the top right corner.
Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
Navigate to Virtual Background Settings:
In the settings menu, locate and click on the "Backgrounds & Filters" tab on the left sidebar.
Choose or Upload Video Background:
Under the Virtual Background section, you'll see a selection of default backgrounds provided by Zoom.
Click on the "+" icon labeled "Add Image or Video."
Browse your computer to select the video background file you want to use, then click "Open."
Preview and Adjust:
Once uploaded, your video background will appear as a thumbnail.
Click on the thumbnail to preview the video background against your current video feed.
Adjust the position, scale, and other settings to ensure the background fits well and looks natural.
Enable Video Background During a Call:
To use the video background during a call, join or start a Zoom meeting.
During the meeting, click on the "^" arrow next to the "Stop Video" button.
Select "Choose Virtual Background."
Choose the video background you uploaded from the list.
Ensure the "I have a green screen" option is unchecked if you don't have a physical green screen behind you.
Enjoy Your Video Background:
Once selected, your video background will be applied to your video feed during the call.
