You can make and record or go live with an animated background as a Christmas Performer. This is not the only way but how I make recordings, do Zoom visits with children, and make ads or announcements.
Equipment:
Please note that Zoom requires some quality processing speed on a PC (laptop or desktop) or Mac. I recommend that you get a free animated background and then try Zoom to ensure your computer can process your call. Tablets, iPads, or mobile phones will not run an animated Zoom background. Some people have made this work, but it can be very glitchy. Again, this is not the only way, but this is an example of how I use my backgrounds.
Even if you use a laptop with an onboard camera I recommend getting a 4k camera to record or make your Zoom calls. There are many different brands on the market. You can do whatever suits you best as long as your camera is capable of running your Zoom call with an animated background.
Lighting is important. The right lighting will make a difference. I use a three-bulb stand system with 3 5000k LED bulbs (500/1260/1800/lumens 5000k LED50/150DL9) You can use 5700k bulbs or professional lighting systems as well. Amazon bulbs for 5700k
In addition, you can use the onboard mic for your webcam or PC/Mac but I added a boom mic that has better sound pickup.
Green screen can be used to get cleaner edges.
